Your Playing Standard
Players are divided into groups according to
their playing standard. It doesn’t matter whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced player, but the more we
know about your level of play, the easier it is to put you in the right group. So let us know:
- How many
years you have been playing?
- How often you have played in the last 5 years
- How often you have played in the last year
- How good your serve is
- If you have an LTA rating or know what it should be
- If you have played competitively before, and at what level
- If you prefer tougher matches (even if you don’t win) or easier matches
(with more chance of success!)
But
please don't worry too much! If you are too strong for your opponents in the first round, you will meet tougher opposition
next time; if you don't fare so well, next time you’ll get matches more geared to your standard of play
